Celebrating the IPSHA Year 5 and 6 Speakers' Challenge!

This year's IPSHA Speakers' Challenge, held at St Mary's Anglican School for Girls, was a showcase of extraordinary talent and eloquence. The event brought together 72 gifted Year 5 and 6 students from various IPSHA schools, all eager to demonstrate their public speaking skills.

The challenge featured three distinct categories: informative, entertaining, and persuasive speeches. Our school was proudly represented by four exceptional students: Archie and Claudia from Year 5, and Alina and Max from Year 6.

Our young orators delivered impressive performances. Claudia, Max, and Alina each secured bronze medals in their respective first rounds. Archie's compelling delivery earned him a commendable second place.

However, the IPSHA Speakers' Challenge was more than just a competition. It was a celebration of courage, creativity, and the art of storytelling. The event provided a platform for students to express themselves, share their ideas, and develop crucial communication skills that will serve them well in their future endeavours.

We are immensely proud of our students' achievements and their willingness to step out of their comfort zones. Their participation in this event is a testament to their dedication, and the supportive environment fostered at our school.
