Take a Moment - A conversation could change a life

Last Thursday, we took a moment to ask, "R U OK?" as part of R U OK? Day - a powerful reminder to check in with each other, not just on the day, but every day.

Our day started with the Exec, Wellbeing Team and student leaders handing out Kit Kats to parents, reminding them to take a break and check in with each other.

During the morning, Caitlin Collins, MLA, Member for Hillarys, teamed up with our Year 12 Prefects at Westfield Whitford City, where they handed out bright and cheerful gerberas to shoppers. It was a simple yet thoughtful gesture that helped remind everyone how small acts of kindness can spark meaningful conversations.

Students raised awareness by wearing yellow and sharing the message of R U OK? Day with their peers while staff enjoyed a sweet cupcake treat from our Food Technology hub.

A big thank you to Westfield Whitford City and POP Floral Studio for supporting this important initiative. Let’s continue spreading kindness and having those crucial conversations every day!

So, have you taken a moment to ask ...

R U Ok? today?
